On published flow rates this is the same pump as the Shark II: 350 L/min in the high-volume stage, 70 L/min in the high-pressure stage, up to 20 psi. Every timing calculation on this site applies identically to both.

The difference is a 57 Wh lithium battery, and it is the difference between a pump that works where you park and a pump that works where you paddle.

Three boards per charge

OutdoorMaster rates the battery at roughly three average-size paddle boards. That is a genuine constraint and it is worth planning around rather than discovering.

For a day trip it is ample. For three days somewhere without power it is exactly enough with no margin, which is a good reason to carry a hand pump alongside it -- about 1.65 lb of insurance against the worst outcome.

It is lighter than the corded one

Two point seven pounds against the Shark II's 3.6, which is counterintuitive given it carries a battery. The corded pump has to carry nine feet of DC cable and a car-socket connector, and that is not nothing.

Against a 50 lb airline allowance, 2.7 lb for a pump that works anywhere is a reasonable claim on the budget. The battery itself is a separate question: a 57 Wh lithium cell is inside the common 100 Wh carry-on limit, but it belongs in the cabin rather than the hold, and your carrier's published rule is the one that counts.

Who this is for

Anybody who walks any distance to the water, camps, travels, or paddles somewhere without parking at the launch. It is the more useful of the two OutdoorMaster pumps for most people, which is why it is our electric pick.

Who should skip it

Anybody who always parks at the launch. The corded Shark II does the same job with no charge to manage and no per-charge limit, and there is no reason to pay for a battery you will never be away from a socket long enough to need.

OutdoorMaster's own figure is around three average-size paddle boards from its 57 Wh battery. Treat that as a planning number rather than a guarantee -- a higher-pressure board or a cold day will both cost you more of it.

On published specifications, identical: both are two-stage pumps rated at 350 L/min and 70 L/min to 20 psi. Every timing calculation on this site applies equally to both. The battery buys independence, not speed.
